Netlify is a cloud platform from Netlify, Inc. for building, deploying and hosting websites and web apps, with deploy previews, serverless functions, file storage, forms and a built-in Postgres database. Since 4 September 2025 new accounts use credit-based plans: a free plan with 300 credits a month, Personal at $9 a month and Pro from $20 a month.

New accounts use credit-based plans: Free with 300 credits a month, Personal at $9 a month with 1,000 credits, Pro from $20 a month with 3,000 to 20,000 credits and unlimited members, and custom Enterprise plans. A production deploy costs 15 credits, bandwidth 20 credits per GB and compute 10 credits per GB-hour.

About Netlify
Netlify builds and hosts web projects. You deploy from a Git repository, the Netlify CLI, the API, drag and drop, or an AI agent, and Netlify serves the result from its global CDN. Every pull request can get a deploy preview, and branches can be deployed to their own URLs.
Around the hosting, Netlify offers serverless functions, Blobs for file storage, form handling, image optimization and an AI Gateway. Netlify Database, a serverless Postgres database built into the platform, became generally available on 28 April 2026 and is only offered on credit-based plans.
Pricing moved to credits on 4 September 2025. Production deploys, compute, bandwidth, web requests and AI inference each consume credits, while form submissions are free. Accounts created before that date can stay on their legacy Free, Starter or Pro plans; switching to credits can't be undone.
