Brag
latent-spaces/brag
Brag is a free, MIT-licensed agent skill that makes a short launch video of the project you built. You run /brag in the project, and the agent plans the story, picks the moments to show, hands a brief to Hyperframes to build and render, and writes the share copy. You get a folder with the plan, the brief, the copy and brag.mp4. A lean /brag-slim version ships with it.

What Brag runs on your machine
- Hooks
- None found in the repo.
- Bundled scripts
- Yes. The full skill has a Python script, analyze_music_cues.py, and runs the Hyperframes CLI through npx. It needs Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg on your PATH.
- Network calls
- Yes for the full skill, since npx fetches Hyperframes. Voiceover is off by default and uses Kokoro through Hyperframes when you turn it on.
- API keys needed
- None named in the README.
These are facts read from the repo, not a security rating. Read the files before you install any skill.
What is inside Brag
| Skill | What it makes the agent do |
|---|---|
| brag | The full workflow. Plans the story and builds the video through the Hyperframes CLI, with bundled music and sound effects. |
| brag-slim | A single-file lean version with no Hyperframes and no bundled assets. On Opus 5.5, /brag switches to it automatically. |
Run /brag --full to keep the classic Hyperframes workflow on Opus 5.5.
A good fit for
- Indie makers who want a launch clip for a product page or social post
- Open-source authors who want a demo video without editing software
- Anyone who wants share copy written alongside the video
- Teams already on Claude Code or Codex that can install Node and FFmpeg
Skip it if
- Machines without Node.js 22 and FFmpeg
- Projects with no visible product to show, since the video is built from your project
- Long-form tutorial or demo videos, because it makes short launch clips
How Brag works
The README says the looping video on the project's launch site was made by /brag on its own repo. The skill owns the story: the product angle, the tone and which moments to show. You can steer it with a tone flag, for example a fake Series A launch from 2016.
The maker also runs letsbrag.app, a hosted version that makes a 20-second video from a site link. That service is separate from the free skill.
